The advancements in classical Africa that laid the foundations for modern science, mathematics, and art include advances in medicine by ancient African physicians and the development of geometry.

Classical Africa rulers, or pharaohs, were both men and women.Hatshepsut is one of the most fondly remembered women to rule as pharaoh.

Most of the gods that appear in classical Greek and Roman religions originated in Egypt. Many of the gods who appear in Classical mythology and literature appear first in different Egyptian religions.

The quest for knowledge along with a feeling of a spiritual link with nature and a need to understand nature are human needs that date back to classical Africa with Zoser's quest to find the birthplace of the Nile River

The painting and sculpture of ancient Africa still seem so realistic and alive that our link to the past makes classical Africa seem only a year away.

The change to a realistic style, a style that captures the personality as well as the physical features of people, a style that captures feelings and emotions, as well as actions, clearly developed in ancient African culture
