WHAT WE DO

What we do


The  African Canadian Heritage Asscoiation is an African heritage program featuring African history lessons, arts and crafts, special events for students, who range in age from 5 to 16 years of age. Our Program includes communal lunches (prepared by parents and students) and a parental program which includes a series of parent workshops. 

Classes take place at CEE Centre For Young Black Professionals 75 Thermos Rd, Scarborough, ON M1L 0E6
each Saturday from September to June
from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Membership is open to families and adult in the community. Annual membership fees are as follows:

Families with 1 child - $60.00

Families with 2 children - $90.00

Families with 3 or more children - $125.00

Price remains the same for children between 5 - 12 of age or youth between 13 - 18.

Associate/Adult members pay a 60.00 annual fee. This gives them an opportunity to vote at the Annual General Meeting, to sit on the board of directors and sign up for the various committees tasked with running the program.

All members are required to be in good standing at the start of the year.
Registration is not complete until payment is received.
